The wife and I decided to get out of town Friday night for a quick camping trip.
After work Friday I ran home and gathered and loaded all the stuff while she did food prep. We drove out to one of our favorite areas and got camp set up shortly before the sun went down.
We had tin foil dinners and they really hit the spot. The weather was perfect and we spent a few hours sitting by the fire.
Saturday morning we woke up early and got started on breakfast. I wanted to hit some trails before we had to head home.
Once camp was cleaned up it was time to hit some trails!
I am a novice off-roader but I like to think I am getting better every time I go out. I wanted J to have a chance to drive a bit so I tried showing her the ropes. She handled everything we could find like a pro!

After dominating a few hills close to camp J did one more near the exit. I didn’t get good pictures because I was busy spotting.
That’s it for now! We hope to head back out in a couple weeks!

Very nice, looks like fun! Grill looks good.
I just pulled the front air dam off our Sport on the weekend.. plan on debadging and taking off the window vinyl asap as well.

good deal! I like the grill my dad put on it. It is his truck but he lets us borrow it when we want to.

It needs to stop snowing up there! Utah weather is almost a full season behind. Spring is the time for camping, not skiing.

Enjoy it while you can I suppose. Summer is coming. Time to plan a trip. Even if it is somewhere close.
